PLWA HAS BEEN
ASSOCIATED WITH CHARITY WORK SINCE 1979. I FEEL HONOURED TO BE
PART OF THIS WONDERFUL ORGANISATION. I AM PRIVILEGED TO BE ONE
OF THE FOUNDER MEMBERS OF PLWA AND ALSO THE INITIATOR OF THE “CHARITABLE
DISPENSARY’’ cum ‘’BALWADI’’.
I VISUALISED THE TWO INITIATIVES TO MEET THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS
OF HEALTH AND EDUCATION OF THE UNDERPRIVILEGED OF PEOPLE IN AND
AROUND THE COLONY. THROUGH PLWA I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING
WITH GENERATIONS OLD AND YOUNG AND I APPEAL TO THE YOUNGER MEMBERS
TO COME FORWARD AND JOIN US IN SPREADING THE BENEFITS OF THE DISPENSARY
AND BALWADI TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE
a Balwadi which was started by Bhai Balmukund Trust
in 1986. It caters to children in the age group
of 3-6 years drawn from the families of house workers
of the colony and surrounding areas...
Dispensary, one of our major achievements, was started
on 7th October 1979 through the joint effort of
the ladies of the colony. Due to shortage of space
PLWA used to operate the dispensary from the garage
PLWA also holds
educative programmes for their members once a month
which encourages the spirit of social service and
togetherness amongst our residents. This tradition
of good deeds needs to be recalled,...
Ladies Welfare Association, PLWA runs a Charitable
Dispensary which is one of the major achievements
of the organization, this program started in 1979
through the joint efforts of the ladies of the colony.
